Bird repeller

Why don't airlines carry a ultrasonic or some sonic bird repeller which will constantly emit a sound which can only be heard by birds and will discourage them in coming near to a flying aircraft. At least this will eliminate one potential risk which can bring down a plane.

:) you now that black box that survives the crash? some comedian wanted to know why nobody made the entire plane out of that material!!

i appreciate the idea of bird repeller in the plane....this would be helpful for the plane repelling the birds coming on its way.....
